I was deeply moved by the rugged and wild landscape around Cradle Mountain area in Tasmania, and wanted to capture its pristine beauty in my painting. The windswept trees and reflective lake had many angles framed by the native tea tree bushes, and old pine and other trees. We walked around the lake with the path entering in and out of the forest giving us different glimpses of the lake as we went. I didn't want to leave. Framed in fresh look wrap around white timber contemporary box frame.
