Orchids flourish naturally in the creek on my property. We scramble over boulders and survey the stags, gingers and orchids that abound. Coming across a new specimen is like finding a gem when fossicking. Their natural beauty and longevity astounds me. Now orchids have become the 'go-to' gift that I'm given, a gift that I always adore.
