An interpretation of the Adelaide Hills after bushfires swept through in December 2020. This piece depicts completely burnt trees in the background with a of band trees in front that have retained some of their singed foliage. The metallic gold band across the bottom represent untouched bush landscape - the fickle hit and miss nature of bushfires.
Painted with bold thick, brush strokes on quality canvas, hooks and wire on the back, it is ready to hang. The sides are painted in thick coats of antique white, so there is no need to frame.
