Sidney Moody is an emerging Warlayirti Artist. Living in Wirrimanu (Balgo) with his wife, Madeline Nowee, also an emerging artist, three daughters and numerous grandchildren, Sidney is a well-respected community member. He is a great storyteller, telling tales not only of his Tjukurrpa but also of his days as a stockman in the Kimberley. Sidney’s practice is inspired by both his country, Nyila, and that of his wife's father, Truriljarra in the Gibson Desert. He began exhibiting as part of Warlayirti group exhibitions in 2013.
