This is an abstract painting of a celebration cake: layers of meringue, sponge and strawberry mousse with white chocolate shards on top. Often the more delicious looking cakes are not quite the neatest.
The painting extends over the sides, as can be seen in the second photo.
Finished with a matt varnish and signed on the back.
The painting is on a cradled wood panel, so it is similar to a stretched canvas in terms of its structure.
