This is an abstract painting of a closed drive thru. Through the shapes and layers of paint I wanted it evoke something of its history – different businesses in different eras, and now quiet disuse.
Finished with a matt varnish and signed on the back.
The painting is on a cradled wood panel, so it is similar to a stretched canvas in terms of its structure.
