Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

This painting of an old cinema has a touch of mid-century style, with the abstract shapes and angles suggesting entrances, ticket booths, signage and advertising. Although the 60s and 70s were not great times for movie theatres, there were a few that survived.

Gloss varnish, sides are painted black, and painting is signed and dated on the back.
