The title 'Transcendence' came to me instantly as I began to plan this piece. I wanted to encapsulate the human form in nature and also in spirit. This was particularly challenging at first, as I always have in mind the aesthetics and making sure it is balanced and the colours work together well. The scene depicts a form of a lady lying amongst nature, while her spirit is set free to roam the cosmos. Depicted are also star constellations/ formations such as Orion , Taurus and the southern cross.
