Photograph on paper
Signed on the front.
This image has been compiled from a few images taken at the Great Lake, Central Highlands Tasmania Australia. The Cider Gum is a tree species under threat of extinction. These mature Cider Gum trees do not have the optimum environmental conditions that they once enjoyed. This creates an exaggerated, dry, gnarled look - almost in an exaggerated appearance or form of ageing beyond its' years.
This image was shot on a Sony RX10 camera and edited using Photoshop and Lightroom. The print is from a collection of digital files that are printed using archival quality inks on acid free paper made from 100% cotton fibres. The printer is large format that take archival quality inks. With 8-10 printer ink cartridges the printer is able to deliver a depth of colour that becomes inherent in the printing process.
