This watercolour painting of Anglesea beach is from a reference photo I took on the beach when a friend and I escaped a women's retreat centre in the town of Anglesea to spend time on the beach. The facilitator was planning group games and we wanted to spend time on the beach as we came from the busy city of Melbourne and felt the need to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the scenery of the seascape.
