Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

Hobart’s Rosny Hill is threatened by development that hopefully will not impede 360 degree views from its lookout. Normally photos are taken of the city with Mount Wellington in the background but this is a different view, looking up the Derwent Valley, beyond the Tasman Bridge with Mount Direction in the background on the right-side. The painting reflects my desire to paint with more freedom and expression whilst concentrating on light and atmosphere.
