This recent work on paper, is a large version of one of my favourite scenes: a rainy day in Sydney with its magical reflections that can only be achieved in watercolour. The Queen Victoria Building and George street act as a backdrop, as the life of the bustling weekday plays out. Workers, tourists, traffic all play in the overall scene of an everyday city scene.
This is a large painting, however it has a lot of detail that will be discovered over time. My loose watercolour style lends to the overall effect of the scene depicted.
