No Longer the Silent One is a surreal artwork that was originally painted in acrylic and oil on timber artboard. This artwork is open to interpretation, however my ideas behind it stem from my own past inability to speak up for myself. I spent a lot of my younger years hiding my true feelings and opinions and as a result I have many regrets. This artwork is a lesson learned, to remind me and others to show your true self whenever possible. Be who you want to be and forget about what others may think of you.
