I love to walk early in the morning and this piece was inspired by the boats on the Noosa river in that magical early morning light. The darks of the trees in the background and the reflections in the water all add up to a really beautiful scene. I have kept this fairly abstract, just suggesting the boats and leaving the rest to your imagination. It is painted on a circular timber art panel and most of it was done with a palette knife.
