The Spider Lilies are all flowering in my garden and around the district. They are a very attractive flower and their petals and stamens curve beautifully to make an interesting composition. The black background serves to concentrate the eye on the movement in the painting. It is signed on the back so as not to distract from the composition and so that it can be hung sideways, if you prefer. It would make a dramatic statement in that special small area in your house hung either way.
