The wattle is blooming and the birds are busy collecting material for their nests or enjoying the nectar from the flowers or the insects. This is my impression of the Sulphur Crested Cockatoos who gather amongst the wattle and other flowers enjoying a spring feast. It is a very cheerful painting and would warm up any room. It has been done with many layers of paint and is finished with three coats of archival varnish. It is ready to hang.
