Butterfly - Joyful Wish Granter - Textured Painting .
This Blue Butterfly represents so many meanings. The Butterfly is a spiritual symbol in many cultures all around the world. It can mean powerful transformation, rebirth, life cycle, playfulness, joy, wish granter, colour, lightness, and life's journey.

I also feel very connected to this piece as symbolises the present time in my own life. Just so happens I also have a matching dress as blues are my favourite colours to paint with and wear!

The background is textured in splattered blues, aquas, greens, pinks, whites, golds and silver foils to represent the sky. The butterfly also is textured on top of the background and looks like it will fly off the painting. The rich blues and black contrast well but also has a peaceful, calming and spiritual feel to it. Gloss varnish finish.
