Textured Abstract Painting on Canvas. This work is inspired by the City Laneways and Graffiti and uses the same materials and techniques including Spray Packs, Paint Pens and has thick textured layers of Paint, Paper and Glue.

The work is multi layered first with an array of colours that have been built up in a thick circular consistency. The dominant monochrome palate of Black, White and Charcoal has then been applied over the top to tone down the brightness and reveal only hints of colour around the edges. The Painting is on a thick stretched canvas that is ready to hang.

This work has a textured finish created by built up layers, paint splatters and torn paper, a visual effect mimicking the look you would see in the street where it is created over time. These imperfections are part of the overall look and feel of the finished work.
