Abstract Painting on Canvas

This original large mixed media painting was a continuation of my recent experiment in using different techniques to apply the paint.
The work was created using Recycled Posters, Vintage Wallpapers and paint applied using Sponges, rags, scrapers, spray packs, Paint Pens then finished off with brushes
The work is an Abstract Statement Piece that would create maximum impact to any room.
This artwork is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces.
The work is very textured from the thick built up layers of paper and paint.
This piece was also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.
