I have often wandered the streets of Launceston and admired the different architectural designs of the city's buildings and wondered how I'd paint a cityscape to give impressions of suburban life in Launceston. After dropping off my grandson fo soccer practice I took this shot as a storm descended upon the district before returning to watch the training session and finding some protection from the cold wind, I might add. After grappling with vanishing points and other technical challenges to do with colour choice, this is the result!
