This artwork epitomises my dream of being in a special place in the mountain country near the QL boarder, a place like Old Bonalbo. It's peaceful and quiet where one may escape the stress and pace of western society and relax. This painting emanates from my personal experience of the area and my admiration for the work of impressionist landscape artists such as Frederick McCubbin and Hans Heyesen.
