One of my great pastimes was to hike and go camping with my husband. We have covered vast ground in Victoria in particular. One of our favourite spots was Halls Gap, and not far from there are some awesome waterfalls. One of those is the Silverband Falls in the Grampians National Park. It is these Falls that provided the inspiration for this painting. Mmm – I can still hear the Falls and smell the fresh wet rocks and vegetation.
