‘She Whispers on the Wind’ has layers of thick acrylic paint with detailed layering of patterned lines. Painting along to classical music at the time I was letting the painting guide the brushstrokes, when the shape of a lady, Mother Nature, with a symbolic baby in her arms emerged. Following this discovery I painted in the patterned lines growing from the mother, joining everything in the scene together, representing her love and nurturing of life itself and nature. I am often influenced by the landscape and waters of my surroundings where I live overlooking the beautiful Peel Harvey Estuary.
My daughter was actually pregnant at the time and that may have been playing deeply in my subconscious.
Painted with quality Ateliers Artists Acrylics and Mediums onto 12oz Quality Stretched Cotton Canvas with deep edges. The painting was sealed with Atelier Fast Fixer medium to isolate the painted layers before finishing with 2 coats of removable Chroma Satin Varnish.
The painting comes mounted in a modern white float frame. Ready to hang and fitted with both Gallery D rings and Traditional D rings and Cord for your convenience.
