I always enjoyed looking at the sun/moon on my doona, all things Egyptian (especially their art) and the fine dots in aboriginal art. So i drew a sun. Didnt like straight traditional beams so i made them sqiggly a little like a flame. I chose to do some dots and Egyptian style eyes. The lips and nose just came to me. This painting took me four months to complete and is my first serious piece of art; my baby and pride and joy. It also represents me and some of my favorite things. Completed when i was approx 17.
