About this Curation

Found in almost every art studio is the humble paint brush. Whilst many are manufactured under one brand, no artist's stroke is the same. Just as individual as their creative DNA, an artist's brush stroke is their signature. It’s an expression of their spirit, imagination and perception. You can even get an idea of their mood from the pressure they apply with their brush! From realists to abstract thinkers, each expression is unique. Here are a few of our favourites

About the Curator

Janni is bluethumb’s in-house curator, she knows our artists and their art like the back of her hand. Being an artist herself she has an even greater appreciation of other artists’ creations. Career highlights include curating exhibition Icons Uncovered, also at SALA festival, Melbourne Fringe and Midsumma. Janni has an eye for artworks that compliment each other and has curated many private collections.
