About this Curation

Winter is approaching (for those of us down south at least) but the good news is there’s no better time to get your hygge on. The Danish concept of living simply and cosily that’s pronounced like “hoo-guh” has taken the world by storm. It is candles, cashmere socks, knitted slippers, sheepskin rugs, mulled wine and most importantly a warm fireplace. Curl up in your own hygge haven with one of these artworks.

About the Curator

Janni is bluethumb’s in-house curator, she knows our artists and their art like the back of her hand. Being an artist herself she has an even greater appreciation of other artists’ creations. Career highlights include curating exhibition Icons Uncovered, also at SALA festival, Melbourne Fringe and Midsumma. Janni has an eye for artworks that compliment each other and has curated many private collections.
