About this Curation

Pop Art was a movement which celebrated popular culture and challenged fine art traditionalists. The radical pop artists created paintings of mass produced products and media stars. The movement turned common place objects into icons and blurred boundaries between ‘high’ and ‘low" culture. This concept challenged the traditions of fine art by acquiring inspiration from any source. This curation is dedicated to our artists' interpretations of modern popular culture.
