Artwork Description

A favourite place close to home, Darebin Creek flows through forests, wetlands and grasslands toward Melbourne's Yarra River. It attracts ducks, moor hens, ibis and blue cranes and is a peaceful oasis surrounded by Melbourne's north-eastern suburbs. Oh, and there's a bicycle trail which follows the creek for tens of kilometres, towards its source in the north west. Oil painting by Dai Wynn on canvas panel. 25.4 cm high by 20.3 cm wide by 0.3 cm deep approximately. (10 inches by 8 inches).
