Artwork Description

Oil on linen

Signed certificate of authenticity.

Oil painting by Dai Wynn of several gondolas moored near a ferry wharf next to the Bridge of Sighs and the Doges Palace in Venice. I have used artistic licence to omit the wharf and several mooring poles. I shall name the gondolier “Giuseppe” as he pushes his boat away from a mooring pole. Presumably, the owners of these boats remove excess baggage before taking on tourists. Oils on linen panel. 20.32 cm high by 27.92 cm wide by 0.3 cm deep approximately.
