The Red Kite is a large raptor found in northern and eastern Europe, migrating to the Middle-East and Africa during the winter. The brilliant sienna colour is produced in much the same way a person has a particular tone of skin, attributable to specific melanins and carotenoid pigments.
Science aside, many similarities exist between the expressions of people and animals. Even if we might assume animals to not have a conscience or set of morals, it is mysterious to ponder the thoughts and emotions running through their minds.
