I painted this painting above Freshwater Beach at the height of summer. It is a great place to paint the surf and crowds.

I like to paint above Freshwater Beach. As summer peaks so do the crowds. People come from everywhere to find relief from the heat and enjoy the sea. The crowd becomes one entity, like a flock of animals or school of fish.
