Artwork Description

The full orchestra is present today; the large dark masses of cloud and the lighter notes too, skipping through the sunbeams! It has been quite a show, with vast volumes intertwined and unfolding across the sky; but here it is, the final grand movement begins!
Yellows and reds at the horizon with huge darker shapes above, this setting sun is sumptious and grand. Still plenty of light in the sky, this lovely painting has a wonderful sense of distance and scale.

Late afternoon, when the sun sinks low on the horizon, is when we are suddenly dazzled by it's brilliance. It's light is so bright that we are all told as youngsters to not look at it, to only ever glimpse it, then turn away. But it is the best part of the sky!
A lovely dramatic sky in acrylic, on canvas. Colourful and strong but composed of soft forms and satisfying detail. Landscape aspect, 1580x1140mm ready to hang. Blues and pinks in the sky with soft yellows and white in the clouds give a wonderful burst of colour for your room.
