Artwork Description

When I first moved to Brisbane 8 years ago, the power poles were a very resonant thing for me. I found them beautiful in their own right, but also truly powerful as a symbol of the the fact I no longer lived out back of beyond, that I was in a city and about to attend uni to finally attain my fine arts degree. It just took 8 years for my painting skills to catch up with my vision!
