This painting is based on a photograph I took from the observation deck of the Empire State Building. Looking down on the rooftops far below, are a range of structural shapes cast shadows as the sun travel across the sky. The work is not framed but the design extends around the edge of the painting creating an interesting three dimensional affect on the wall. The work is ready to hang and I recommend that it is hung on a wall hook rather than from a picture rail suspension system.
