Judgmental Polish Chicken by Deb Webb - inspired by a photo of a polish chicken.
The Inspiration:
I love the attitude of birds and their mannerisms. When I came across a polish chicken, I just knew I had to paint it in my own way. This piece is definitely a statement in a room and paired with the right framing would definitely be a focal point.
I love using acrylic inks paired with alcohol ( not the drinking kind, although nice), acryla gouache and paint pens for highlights. When I paint like this it is often quite intuitive although some colours have been chosen already.
