Artwork Description

A vibrant, vigorous, tactile painting which describes the collision of water and the land and it's interaction with the elements. I wanted to interpret the ever moving silt lines left behind on the river banks by using thick texture and the rawness of bitumen in contrast of the ephemerality of the water.
