Paper Bark Trees evoke the coastal foreshore , the smell of salt water, lazy summers. My love of the early Australian artists like Arthur Streeton on to Fred Williams and Brett Whitely influence my way of seeing my trees around me. My internal feelings are still expressed when I paint, my mark making tells my story while depicting the tree in front of me.
