Denise’s style of painting can be best described as enigmatic, raw and unconstrained. Her decorative style of mark making through a contemporary abstracted delivery of exploring the human form or exploring her surroundings and the environment is unique to her own.

Denise’s artistic career spans over 17 years. In 2005 she was invited to exhibit at Agora gallery New York and in 2010 was invited to exhibit at the Toronto International Art Expo.

Since 1999 Denise Anderson has exhibited extensively. With 7 solo exhibitions internationally and in Australia and 19 group exhibitions including representations in public and private collections in Australia, New York, Toronto, South Africa and New Zealand.

Its clear that as an artist Denise explores and stimulates the viewers attention by her seductive and alluring contoured lines, cascading dripping of glazes and mediums along with her connection with the human form and nature and the cities landscape itself.
Denise studied at Edith Cowan’s Academy of Performing Arts, acquiring a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts and Diploma of Education and a years studying a Masters of Architecture at University of Western Australia.
Her studies also include Early Venetian Masters techniques at the Academy of Art Toronto.
