Oil on wood, ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
Banksia's are an Australian icon, so easily recognised by their distinct shape. There are over 173 different Banksia varieties. This particular work is a still life painting of Banksia Marginata. It is a small sized still life of banksia's in a wooden vase. The painting has been completed onto cradled wood panel with oil paints using both palette knifes and brushes. The colour palette is made up of blush tones, sienna browns and greens giving the painting a delicate soft look. This painting is unframed and the wood edging is visible from the side giving a nice organic feel to the work. Framing is an option if you wish. There are a few framing examples in the photos. Artwork has been varnished and is ready to hang.
