Denim Rose was the product of my responding to colour and texture as I applied it to the canvas - it evolved from the base coat to eventually reveal this stunning semi-abstract piece, with heavenly roses, soft and floating, in a sea of denim blue. Acrylic paint, blended with mediums add translucency and texture, as paint was applied with either brushes, even fingers.
Together with it's size, measuring 152.5cm wide x 51cm high (60" x 24"), and the mesmerizing semi-abstract monochrome palette, this artwork would be the perfect addition to the home of an astute art collector.
