This is a painting inspired by my love of recycled planks of wood. It is acrylic paint over stretched canvas It took me many days to paint this piece as there are many layers to give the effect of weathered, cracked planks of wood that have been recycled. It has a rustic / coast feel to it. The sides of this artwork are painted dark brown. Finished with matt varnish for protection. This piece gave me a lot of joy in the creation of it.
