Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
I recently visited the Northern Territory and was so inspired by the magical colours of Uluru. When l create a new artwork, my priority is to do justice to the over all aesthetic of the painting; l want it to be striking to the eye, while taking the eye on a journey into the intricacy of every detail. Colour is very important to me , and I access each colour very carefully to achieve the optimum outcome. It gives me great joy in creating new & original artworks that impact the observer and helps them to temporarily travel into a new world that has been brought to life by me.
The sides of the canvas are painted white to make the colours pop. This painting is finished with varnish for protection and is ready to hang.
In 2018 I entered "Uluru" in the Baulkham Hills Shire Orange Blossom Festival Art Exhibition and was awarded third prize in the contemporary category.
