Great Barrier Reef series No. 6 - Ocean Lookout. I have used resin, ink, pigment paste on canvas which weighs approximately 3 kg.
I can not say this enough. The movement and depth that ink and resin gives, continuously amazes me. There are sections where the water is smooth like glass but by adding a medium into the resin I can also get a volume on the wave caps that gives my work another dimension. I am finding working with resin although restricting, by experimenting I have found ways around the self leveling of the medium.
What a conversation piece this will be on any wall. This statement piece measurements 70cm x 50cm. As you walk past the light catches the waves. The glistening attracting the attention it deserves.
