Artwork Description

Resin on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

Great Barrier Reef series No. 6 - Ocean Lookout. I have used resin, ink, pigment paste on canvas which weighs approximately 3 kg.
I can not say this enough. The movement and depth that ink and resin gives, continuously amazes me. There are sections where the water is smooth like glass but by adding a medium into the resin I can also get a volume on the wave caps that gives my work another dimension. I am finding working with resin although restricting, by experimenting I have found ways around the self leveling of the medium.
What a conversation piece this will be on any wall. This statement piece measurements 70cm x 50cm. As you walk past the light catches the waves. The glistening attracting the attention it deserves. This piece is signed on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity. If you would like to view a video of this artwork please contact me and I will be happy to provide it.

During one of Victor harbor's electrical storm the water was crashing violently over the rocks, it created a rip tide which is dangerous but at the same time it had a beauty about it.What we saw sitting on Victor Harbor shoreline on a beautiful warm summer sunset. The contrast of the blue water against the warm rocks with the orange sunset reflecting on them.Southern Beauty is a 3D diptych showing the beauty of Port Noarlunga in South Australia done in mixed media with real shells and seaweed adding another level of 3D.Beautiful ocean spot in South Australia called Port Rickaby. The ocean is done in resin which is smooth and the rocks and sand are textured.
