Much like the establishments and buildings the self taught artist paints, the Parklands of Adelaide are at risk of corporation and construction capitalizing on the land. This painting highlights a corner of our city which is generally only seen as a thoroughfare. Donovan thoughtfully captures Whitmore Square at dusk, emitting its beauty against the cities rapidly rising skyline.
