Inspired by the beautiful white and yellow colours of the Randia Fitzalanii flower, this is my abstract imagination of the flowers blossoming in the moonlight. The ever changing flowers are celebrating their pure existence, for when autumn spring upon us, the flowers will fall again awaiting rebirth.
A paint pouring technique was used on the background using black and white colours to depict the night sky. A luminous touch was added to the painting using silver and gold leaf to give a moonlight effect. The painting is finished with a protective layer of varnish (gloss)
