The painting is inspired by the floristry of Sydney Florist "Oh Flora Studio". I was watching Tanya Shaw's stories and it the bouquet she was assembling captivated my imagination. Flora Oh Flora is painted with organic free flowing brushstrokes of impasto (thickened) oil paint onto raw linen. The background is raw linen.
