The bouquet subject of this painting was collected from the roadside near Goolwa in South Australia. It was bought home with all the luggage from our beach holiday, and some bees came for the ride. The artist glimpsed pink whilst travelling high speeds along the highway and naturally a u-turn was required. This artwork won a judges merit award at the Goolwa Art and Photography exhibition in 2016. Professionally famed in raw Tasmanian oak, it is ready to hang.
