When I was at school one of my friends left to join the Navy. I often wondered if this was something that she had always been wanting to do. Was she dreaming of being grown up and living her own life or was she running away from something or to something.
This is a small round artwork (reminiscent of a ship porthole) which incorporates a map as the collage in the background.
