Headland was influenced by sitting at my local beach staring at the glorious view, relaxing and always changing. On timber bars, with canvas and ready to hang, this pretty work was created with thick slabs of oil paint applied with a palette knife. After a long drying time the final varnish was applied to give a soft subtle sheen and protect.
