Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

This artwork comes with an external frame

The wildflowers of Western Australia had an incredible bloom in 2021 - plentiful winter and spring rains fuelled a continuing blossoming of colour. I felt it compelled to capture the outdoor vibrancy in paint form. From a hiking trip to Lesueur National Park I capture the incredible floral colour bursts in this painting of a prickly poison pea flower.

The painting has been professionally framed in Tasmanian oak, with the frame made to order to fit the artwork. Fitted with hooks and a string, ready to hang. The frame can also be stood up freestanding on a shelf. The painting is signed on the front, with the title, year and artist name on the back of the canvas frame. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Mountain huts and grey rocks dot the landscape with the sky a cloudy white-grey-pink.A peeling paperbark tree revealing multiple layers of different brown hues with two thin trees and green bushland behind a dusty beige ground in the background.A birdseye view of a large blue flower with green spiky fronds and a green-brown-yellow-white mottled background.
